Work begins to fit-out Oxfordshire’s Biggest Barber Shop

NJF Shopfitting have started work on an eight-week project to transform an empty shell into what promises to be the UK’s most impressive barber shop. This exciting project will also be the biggest Barber shop in Oxfordshire.

The client, Andy’s Barber shop in Bicester, is a multi-award winning barber shop who have outgrown their current shop and are relocating to a new prime location in Pioneer Square, Bicester. Although the finished designs are a closely guarded secret, the project will include the creation of a mezzanine floor and 10 bespoke oak barbering stations.

Simon Durrell, NJF Commercial Manager said: “It’s always good to be working with a local business who is expanding and wanting to create something different. This is going to be the male equivalent of a luxury hair salon and we are perfectly placed to deliver this with our attention to detail, skilled team and in-house bespoke joinery.”

Owner Andy Willis said: “I’m a barber, not a builder so I’ve really appreciated the support and guidance that NJF Shopfitting have provided every step of the way. Our new shop in Pioneer Square will be much bigger, enabling us to have 10 chairs which will limit waiting times and also make us the largest barber shop in Oxfordshire. It’s come at a great time as next year we’ll be celebrating 10 years in business. I’m really excited to see it progress.”

The new shop is due to open on August 29th.
